Bred to guard, Anatolian Shepherd Dogs are a force to be reckoned with. Strongly built, they have a strong nature and are bold and independent, requiring a great deal of socialization to ensure they are pleasant to visitors and other dogs.
Originally bred to guard sheep from wolves and bears.
