Chinese Crested dogs are lively, fun-loving and stubborn.
Chinese Cresteds are bred in two varieties, the Hairless and Powder Puff. Chinese Cresteds are lively, affectionate pets which are devoted to their owners.
Originally bred to be a companion.

May be difficult to housetrain and prone to territory marking, particularly if male.
A daily skincare routine is needed for the Hairless variety, which can be prone to skin complaints. They may have missing teeth and toenails. Some young Hairless dogs can go through a 'teenage' acne stage. They also suffer from cold temperatures and get sunburned easily.
