A little more strong-willed than the shorthaired version, the Wirehaired Pointer is energetic, affectionate and good-natured. These dogs have energy in abundance and they need homes where long walks and action are part of the package.

Originally bred for flushing and pointing at game.

Obedient and playful, the Wirehaired Pointer is interested in scents.
