The sensitive Irish Red and White Setter is reserved with strangers, but easy-going and affectionate to its family. Not known for being responsive to owners' requests, these dogs have a natural exuberance and energy that requires an outlet in the form of long walks and free running.
Originally bred for flushing and retrieving game.
