The Old English Sheepdog is affectionate, bold and faithful.

Owner's Guide

Lively, playful Old English Sheepdogs have a massive coat. Prolonged daily grooming is needed if they are to remain tangle-free and pet dogs may be more comfortable and more manageable if they are clipped, especially in summer.

Originally bred to herd sheep.

This dog's coat requires prolonged daily grooming to keep it in good condition. The hair above its eyes needs to be tied back so that the dog can see clearly.
