Sensitive and gentle, the Pharaoh Hound has origins that can be traced back to the Ancient Egyptians. Their hunting and chasing instincts are still strong so care is needed on walks. Aloof and independent, they will be affectionate and friendly but on their own terms.

Originally bred for hunting using sight, sound and smell.

This dog has a curious nature. It is a keen, energetic hunter, and will blush when excited.
