About Dr. Dalya Koch
Petside.co.uk proudly introduces out resident pet vet, Dr. Dalya Koch. Here she tells you a little more about herself...
I graduated as a veterinary surgeon from University of Sydney in 2001, and subsequently completed an internship in a busy referral practice. I have worked in a number of small animal practices both in Australia and the UK, and am currently employed in a small animal hospital in Middlesex. My main ineterests are in the fields of small animal medicine and anaesthesia. On a more diverse note, I have also worked as a resident vet for a London-based quarantine station, been involved in a cat neutering program in Greece, and am a Marine Mammal Medic.
What I enjoy the most as a veterinarian is supporting the human-animal bond, and improving a pet's quality of life. I am passionate about promoting responsible pet ownership, and to that end have hosted a number of client information evenings at our practice on topics such as first aid and care of the senior pet.
I was initially attracted to the Petside website because it seems to be a fantastic resource for pet owners, and as such would be a brilliant forum for communicating information about pet health.
